Gordon's Plan

Early 50's Male, here - office worker, lousy diet - same as the guy above (Dan?) for the most part. Except I'm tracking carbs, not calories.


Starting weight: 270, mid-May

Current weight: 235, mid July (average 2.6 lbs/week)

Approach: Protein shakes in the morning, low carb / light lunch, dinner before 8 PM and strive for low carbs.

Best advice: Cut out the snacking (or snack on low carb choices), skip the fast food (MyFitnessPal app helps here, they have an awesome database that should scare anyone serious about losing weight away from just about any fast-food)

Next step: Exercise. The comments on this board about sneaking in exercise are very interesting, that's my next challenge.
